Preventing wooden floors from getting a drum

The wooden floor was partially arched, which seriously affected the appearance and use of the living room. This is the last thing that every owner who carries out the decoration and decoration of the room wants to see.

The main reasons for the partial arching of the wooden floor are as follows:

(1) The moisture content of the surface wood flooring is high or low. When it is too high, the wood floor will lose moisture in the dry air, the section will shrink, and warp deformation will occur. When the wood floor is low, the moisture of the air will be absorbed and the arch will be generated.

(2) The fine stone concrete or thermal insulation material laid between the wooden joists is not dry. After the floor is laid, it absorbs moisture and then drums and deforms.

(3) The venting holes are left at the end of the four seasons without the moisture barrier or the floor. After the surface layer is laid, the internal moisture cannot be discharged in time.

(4) At the end of the wool floor, the gap or the gap is too small. After the moisture is expanded, the surface layer plate is drummed and deformed.

To prevent the water floor surface from being drummed and deformed, the following points should be strictly implemented during the construction of the wooden floor:

(1) Control the moisture content of the wood floor, and its water content should not exceed 12%.

(2) Fine stone concrete or thermal insulation materials poured between wooden joists must be dried before laying the floor.

(3) Reasonably set the vent hole. The wooden joists should be connected to the hole and groove, and connected to the vent hole of the floor surface layer. The vent hole of the floor surface layer should be no less than two places. The vent hole of the skirting board should be no less than two places on each side, and the vent hole should be kept open. Air circulation.

(4) The bottom layer of the wooden floor (ie the wool floor), the joint of the board should be properly opened, generally 2~5mm, the surface should be planed, the adjacent joints should be staggered, and the surrounding area is about 10~15mm away from the wall.

(5) A gap of 1Omm should be left between the wood surface layer and the wall, and covered with a skirting board or a skirting strip.
