Corrugated carton typesetting work should not be ignored

The typesetting of corrugated boxes has always been a weak link in corporate management and often cannot be taken seriously. In fact, the quality of the typesetting work of corrugated cartons is directly related to the product quality of corrugated box printing and the work efficiency of printing. Its importance cannot be ignored.

At present, many types of corrugated box companies have the following common problems in the typesetting work: the tearing of the printing plate base, the printing of the glue, and the typesetting temperature are cold in winter and hot in summer, leading to aging and deformation of the printing plate.

In the storage, storage, and storage environment of printing plates, corrugated box enterprises must strengthen on-site management and fully implement 5S, namely, sorting, rectification, cleaning, cleaning, and literacy. The hanging plate rack is fixed and positioned according to the frequency of use of the printing plate, and the printing plate is periodically processed, and the unused printing plate is processed in time so that the printing plate is stored in an orderly manner and a comfortable and clean working environment is created and maintained.

When publishing, the paste of the hanging plate must be aligned with the base edge of the plate. At present, corrugated cartons in China generally adopt the traditional process of sticking tapes on the bases of the hanging plates to fix the hanging plates. In this way, the printed plates are often hung on the use of the plates and are stored for a long period of time due to stress on the plates. The plate shift phenomenon is especially noticeable in the hot and wet quarters of the year and the third quarter. In order to change this phenomenon, some corrugated carton enterprises started to use cold welding technology to fuse and cool the material of the hanging plate and the base material of the hanging plate base, so that the plate bar can be welded firmly to the plate base at one time. Hanging plate positioning is stable. At the same time, in order to prevent the plate bases near the two ends of the plate from being torn after being subjected to stress, fiber tapes are generally added for reinforcement.

In order to ensure the accuracy of typesetting, the datum line is the basis of typesetting, and this should be highly valued. If the benchmark drawing is not good, it will lead to deviations in future work, and there will be problems with layout or overprinting. There are two main baselines, one is the vertical centerline when hanging, and the baseline must be drawn from the top edge of the layout to the bottom edge; the other is the horizontal line, which is the flapping line of the corrugated box. The standard distance from the edge of the hanging film.

After the baseline is drawn, draw the top flap line, box high line, and bottom flap line in turn according to the size of the corrugated box. When drawing a line, you must not forget to reduce the points in the circumferential direction of the hanging plate, but do not need to reduce the points in the horizontal direction. In the upper version, the position should be aligned horizontally and vertically. Note whether the edges of the printing plate are curled, the small print falls off, the tape is dropped, and the plate paper is damaged. If any of the above situations occurs, remedial measures should be taken immediately.

At present, most corrugated box companies still use manual scribing to determine the location of the layout, so that the location of the occurrence of a large deviation. Some companies have used simple tooling to locate the sections of the layout. The results are good. The method is mainly to use the principle of projection and the method of printing the positioning line directly on the printing film base to determine the position of the layout, and the typesetting accuracy is high.
