Up to now, the total amount of imported waste paper approved this year has reached 18.84443 million tons. For the whole year, this year's foreign waste imports are the lowest in the year. The 155,695 tons approved in the 24th batch only accounted for 0.84% ​​of the total.
There were only two companies that were approved for waste paper, and this was the least approved this year.
The main approved this time is Dongguan Jianhui Paper, with an approval quota of about 140,000 tons. Shanying Paper was only approved for 15,700 tons in the 24 batches of import lists. Shanying Paper's wholly-owned subsidiary acquired a paper mill in Wisconsin, USA, in August. It is expected that Shanying Paper will mainly import pulp raw materials.
From this point of view, imported waste paper will continue to shrink, and strive to achieve zero import of solid waste in 2020.
