German development smart cling film will change color when abnormal

Food preservation is a science, and the technological content of cling film is gradually increasing. According to the German "Business Daily" report recently, experts at the Fraunhofer Processing Technology and Packaging Research Institute in Freising, Germany, recently designed a new type of cling film. This cling film contains a "scavenger-indicator system" that not only captures oxygen that is detrimental to food preservation, but also signals "high oxygen content in the package" through discoloration. When the temperature of the storage environment rises, the signal substances in the cling film are activated, and the excellent spots are revealed to let people know that the food has experienced an excessive temperature during transportation.
