China Merchants Bank supports huawei pay mobile payment range to expand

On August 31, huaweipay was officially launched. Following the support of applepay and samsungpay services, China Merchants Bank expanded its territory in the mobile payment field and became the first bank to support huaweipay services.

“一闪通·huaweipay” is a mobile payment product provided by China Merchants Bank and Huawei. It supports customers to use some Huawei mobile phones to replace physical bank cards. In the country, there is a UnionPay “flash payment” or “cloud flash” (quickpass) logo. The terminal conducts transactions, and at the same time supports some businesses in China Merchants Bank atm, China Merchants Bank Visual Counter (vtm), and China Merchants Bank counters instead of physical bank cards.

According to reports, huaweipay adopts nfc full terminal solution based on mobile phone built-in security chip + nfc + fingerprint recognition + tee function, which has higher security level than third-party payment. The first is that the card reading information is not stored, only the chip is written to prevent leakage; secondly, the reading account is a virtual account, which reduces the risk of theft; in addition, the fingerprint identification replaces the password, and even if the mobile phone is lost, the card is not stolen.

The user does not need to light up the screen when paying, just close the mobile phone to the UnionPay POS machine that supports the flash payment function, the payment function can be awakened, and the fingerprint is used for identity verification, and the payment can be completed. At the same time, huaweipay can complete the payment without the network, and get rid of the strong dependence of the payment on the network.
