Research on the Classification Standard of Waste Paper and Related Standards in China

The use of waste paper to replace some of the wood fibers and the more polluted grass pulp to produce various paper products is a successful way for the development of the international paper industry. Many advanced countries have established relevant standards for waste paper recycling, so their waste paper sorting, quality, and high utilization rate can be used to produce higher-grade paper and paperboard. Compared with foreign countries, the current classification of domestic waste paper is confusing, and waste paper is doped with adhesive articles. After the deinking of waste paper, residual ink remains in the pulp, which seriously affects the reuse of waste paper. In order to adapt to the development trend of waste paper recycling in China and effectively use waste paper, the subject of the “Study on the Classification of Waste Paper Recycling Standards and Related Standards” undertaken by the China Pulp and Paper Industry Research Institute has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Planned to be completed within 2 years:

This work will have important significance in regulating the recycling of waste paper in our country and importing waste paper.
