The meeting confirmed that Beijing Institute of Graphic Arts, Shanghai Zijiang Color Printing and Packaging Co., Ltd., China Printing Technology Association Intaglio Printing Branch, Zhejiang Chengxin Packaging Materials Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Dingzheng Printing and Packaging Co., Ltd., and Shaanxi Beiren Printing Machinery Co., Ltd. are the Standard drafting unit.

The meeting discussed the topics, framework, and content of this national standard. Frameworks are: 1 scope; 2 normative references; 3 terms and definitions; 4 quality control requirements (4.1 raw materials, 4.2 equipment, 4.3 tooling, 4.4 process, 4.5 operating specifications); 5 test methods.

The printability index of printing materials in the national standard includes wetting tension and uniformity, heat shrinkage, tensile strength, friction coefficient, thickness deviation value, transparency, width deviation, tensile strength, and appearance. Printing materials include: BOPP, PE, PET, CPP, BOPA, PVC, OPS and so on.

Process indicators include: printing environment, temperature and humidity (other conditions to add), tension, oven temperature, exhaust volume, knife line, spot color ink error range, impression cylinder pressure. The meeting confirmed that the first draft of the drafting group for national standards was completed by the end of June; the first working meeting of the drafting group was held in July and the location was to be determined.
